Visual block builder

Build with flexible Text Input, Matrix/Likert, Constant Sum / Allocation, Semantic Differential, Rating/NPS, Slider Scale, Ranking, Consent, dropdowns, radios, checkboxes, date scheduling, headings, paragraphs, rich text, dividers, groups, and multiple pages. Text Input can be single-line or multi-line and can validate email addresses, phone numbers, numbers, URLs, and more. Friendly design controls

Most people should not need to type CSS values by hand. Chimera exposes common styling through sliders, color pickers, toggles, dropdowns, and value plus unit controls.

Display logic

Show or hide blocks based on earlier answers. Logic is not only visual. Chimera recalculates effective values server-side, ignores hidden stale answers, and avoids requiring fields that the respondent could not actually see.

Date and scheduling

A date block that understands programs, tours, and seasons.

Chimera Forms can limit available dates by weekday, recurring seasonal windows, lead time, future range, blackouts, special inclusions, and time zone. It can show a calendar or a short list such as the next five Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A recurring season like March 1 through November 30 repeats every year, and the same engine can handle seasons that cross New Year. When a program is out of season, you can show a custom message and decide whether visitors should also see dates from the next season.

Quotas and capacity

Use quotas for the whole form, a question, a choice, or a condition. When capacity is reached, Chimera can close a form, hide a question, hide or disable a full choice, or show a custom message.

Hosted pages, embeds, and QR codes

Publish the form directly on a branded hosted page, or embed it into another website without an iframe. Every hosted form can also generate a QR code for print and signage.

Response management and exports

Forms belong to owners, but other users can be invited to work with them. Editing and response access are treated as permissions, not as an all-or-nothing sharing switch.

Survey and research blocks

Move beyond ordinary intake forms with first-class blocks for structured survey work. Matrix/Likert questions use stable row and choice identities with optional explicit numeric scoring, randomization, anchors, and reverse-scored rows. Constant Sum captures constrained allocations, Semantic Differential measures bipolar scales, Rating can run as a conventional scale or NPS, Slider captures bounded numeric scales, Ranking records a complete ordered preference, and Consent stores an explicit decision with a server-recorded timestamp.

Email triggers live with the form.

Create named email triggers, choose recipients, write subjects and messages, use field tokens, add conditions, and pause or resume triggers without taking the form offline. The longer-term direction is to keep expanding the automation layer without turning basic forms into a maze.
